Weekend homework
posted by John Winn
The sad death of Brian Close set one or two of us thinking who might be the oldest living England test captain, and if you include those who have skippered only one test, which I do, the answer might surprise you. And you might be even more surprised how many former captains are still alive, so that is your weekend homework, answers will be checked at Headingley on Tuesday. To help you with part two you need to find 27 names.
Good luck, John
